Steamed char siu baos are always good and the siu mai is usually pretty good too. I've just stopped getting the hargow and kahlua pork buns and all is well.

Our favorite spot to get baked char siu bao in town. They're Hong Kong Hawaiian and everything is amazing. We always get some dim sum to go while we're here since it's so easy to drop in. They're always consistent and super nice. Will always be one of my favorite bakeries in Torrance.

My family has been getting cakes here decades, so had to stop by. Inside it was pretty busy, but the line moved well. Ordered some sweet potato manju, and some cookies. Still the same flaky, sweet treats that I snacked on years ago.

So, I'm in town and I needed to look for snacks to for my lunch partners. I'm going to drive past Hong Kong bakery so I decide to stop there. Lo and behold I find cookies that are recipes from May, who is the owner's wife Needless to say, I decided to buy extra cookies so I can take it home back to Hawaii and share it with those who may not know or have forgotten about the owners of Hong Kong bakery

Checked out Hong Kong Bakery after a friend recommended it. One go to meal when I go back home to Hawaii is manapua and pork hash so I was excited to see how their's compared to places back home. My friends and I shared a variety of dishes. My favorites were the pork hash and sweet potato pie. The pork hash is well seasoned and tastes similar to places I go to back home. The ultimate winner though is their sweet potato pie. Perfect balance of flavors of the haupia and sweet potato; not too sweet.

Longstanding Chinese Hawaiian foods in Torrance since 1980s, I'm that old and have been enjoying the best Manapua in town. We often drop in and take out: HAR GOW SIU MAI ROAST PORK RICE CAKE PEANUT BUTTER MOCHI BBQ PORK MOCHI JIN DUI MANAPUA This has been my CA Manapua HQ forever and had been comparing to our favorite in Honolulu in recent years.... Behold! Same family! Win Win! Best food to share during flights in between.

The kitchen closes at 5:45/6pm! I came here with my family in hopes to order more food but we came too late. We were greeted kindly but we ordered more pastries that were not packaged for us. We ordered an assortment of the Hawaiian filled donuts that were very fluffy and the inside was like jelly and pudding texture. It wasn't overpoweringly sweet and was tasty. My rankings of donuts: 1) Chocolate 2) Strawberry 3) Mango 4) Blueberry We also ordered the BBQ Pork baos that were very savory and well seasoned. It wasn't salty and the texture balance was great.
